DECID:R — A calmer way to practise the decisions that matter — tabletop exercises for the people who lead when things go wrong.

Tabletop exercise platform
Practise the decisions you hope you never have to make.
60–90 minutes. Realistic scenarios. Structure and prompts built in — your team focuses on the conversation, not the admin.
No sign-up needed for a single-team session · book a demo

⤴ Post-exercise debrief — decision quality, outcome rationale, alternative paths
Realistic scenarios
Branching incidents across cyber, physical, personnel, information security, business continuity and crisis management — written for UK organisations.
Structured decisions
Every choice is framed by a six-stage decision technique used in high-pressure environments, so teams learn the why, not just the what.
Live consequences
Public trust, operational capacity, threat containment and £ cost move with every decision — mistakes are visible, recoverable, and discussable.
Built for facilitators
Pair a host console with a shared room display, run a 60–90 minute session, then export a debrief pack with the team's full decision trace.
How a scenario branches
The story converges. The consequences don't.
Six injects play out in sequence. At each one, your team picks one of three options — and all three choices lead into the same next inject, so everyone follows the same narrative. What diverges is the cost: every option moves public trust, operational capacity, threat containment and £ spend. The trajectory of those metrics across the run decides which of four debrief ratings — excellent, good, adequate or poor — you land on.
See it in action
From the first decision to the boardroom-ready debrief.

In-session
A live decision trace, not just a quiz score.
Every choice is captured against the structured decision technique it sits inside. Teams can see the path they took, the paths they didn't, and where their reasoning started to diverge from the room's earlier plan.
After the session
A facilitator pack you can email straight to the exec.
One click exports the full session — total crisis cost broken down across eight categories, every decision with its £ impact, and discussion prompts for the debrief. PDF, DOCX and CSV formats, all branded.
- · Eight-category cost breakdown (response, downtime, churn, regulatory…)
- · Decision-by-decision impact table with rationale
- · Facilitator notes & debrief prompts
- · White-labellable for internal training programmes

What you walk away with
A branded exercise report and a working runbook — generated from the room's decisions.
These aren't templates. The exercise report is a 21-page debrief; the runbook is an ITIL 4 / NIST 800-61r2 / ISO 27035 aligned playbook your IR lead can take straight into BAU.

Who it's for
For anyone who'd help decide how the business responds.
When something goes wrong — a cyber attack, an outage, a safeguarding issue, a supplier failure, a public-facing incident — decisions get made by whoever's in the room. DECID:R helps that group rehearse those decisions together, before it counts.
- Executive & leadership teams
- Operations & service delivery leads
- Business continuity & resilience leads
- Crisis & incident response groups
- Risk, compliance & internal audit
- People, HR & comms leads
- IT, security & technology teams
- Anyone who'd be in the room when it happens
