Beta Programme Terms

Version 2026-06-19.v10 · Last updated 19 June 2026

These Beta Programme Terms apply when Decidr Ltd grants you a beta licence to DECID:R. They sit alongside, and where they conflict take precedence over, the Terms of Service for the duration of the beta. By accepting a beta licence you confirm you accept these terms on behalf of yourself and your organisation.

1. Applying for and being granted a beta licence

You can apply for a beta licence through the 'Apply for a beta test account' lightbox in the website footer. The application captures your name, work email, organisation, role, sector, team size, why you're interested, how you heard about us and your preferred start date. We use these details only to review your application and to reply.

Acceptance is at the discretion of Decidr Ltd. If we don't take your application forward we'll say so, and we'll delete the application 12 months later. If we accept, we'll send activation details and these Beta Programme Terms for explicit acceptance before your seat goes live.

A beta licence is a time-boxed evaluation of the full Service. The default term is 3 months from activation; the exact start and expiry dates are recorded on your account and shown in your settings.

During the beta period you may use the Service as much as you like across unlimited sessions, scenarios and team members, subject to the Acceptable Use Policy and to the limits we publish from time to time.

The beta period ends automatically on the expiry date. There is no auto-renewal. After expiry the account drops to a 7-day read-only window so you can download anything you want to keep, and is then fully suspended unless you have converted to a paid licence.

2. Fees

Beta licences are issued either free of charge or for a reduced nominal fee. The fee (or that it is zero) is set when your beta licence is issued and shown to you in writing before acceptance. We will not charge you any other amount during the beta period for use of the core Service.

Optional add-ons, professional services, and one-off facilitated sessions delivered by our team during the beta are quoted separately and are not covered by the beta fee.

3. Marketing — "as used by"

By taking part in the beta programme you grant Decidr Ltd a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use your organisation's name and logo on the DECID:R website, in pitch decks, in social posts, and in other marketing materials, solely under the heading "as used by" or equivalent customer-list framing, for the duration of the beta and for 24 months afterwards.

We will use your logo as supplied or as published on your public website and will not modify it beyond what is needed for legibility. We will not state or imply that you endorse the product beyond participation in the beta.

You may withdraw this permission for future materials at any time by emailing legal@decidr.live. On withdrawal we will remove your logo from materials we directly control within 30 days; we may continue to display printed or pre-distributed materials produced before that date.

When you accept these terms you are also asked to tick a separate consent box confirming the logo permission above. Both are required; we keep a record of the tick-box acceptance as the audit trail.

4. Feedback

We expect (but do not require) beta participants to share feedback on bugs, usability and content. You may share feedback by any means: in-app, email, or scheduled call.

You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use any feedback you provide to improve the Service. Feedback is provided 'as is' with no obligation on either side.

5. Confidentiality

Features, prices, scenarios, and roadmap details disclosed to you during the beta that are not yet public are confidential. You may share them internally with people who need to know to evaluate the Service, on the same confidentiality basis.

6. Your data and exports

Your exercise data, scenarios and reports created during the beta are yours. You may export them at any time via the in-app PDF, DOCX and CSV exports.

If you do not convert to a paid licence, we will retain your identifiable exercise data for 30 days after beta expiry to support a final export on request, then delete it. Anonymised analytics may be retained for product improvement.

7. No warranty during beta

Because the beta is provided free or at a nominal fee, the Service is provided 'as is' with no service level commitment for the duration of the beta. Bugs, downtime, scenario changes, and feature removal may occur without notice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to a beta participant for the entire beta period is capped at £100, or the actual beta fee paid (whichever is greater). Nothing in this clause limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Conversion to a paid licence

Before the beta expires we will offer a paid monthly, annual or multi-year licence at the rate published on the pricing page in force at the time, with any beta-conversion discount we have set out in writing.

If you do not convert, access is automatically revoked at the end of the read-only grace window. We will not auto-bill you for a paid licence.
