Branching and replay
How the story diverges, and what changes when you replay.
Scenarios are branching trees, not linear scripts. Two players starting the same scenario can end up in genuinely different places by round three.
- Each decision selects the next node — usually another decision, sometimes a cutscene or an outcome.
- Replays are encouraged. Your progress and trend lines count the latest run for each scenario.
- You can replay specific branches from the debrief to explore a path you didn't take.
Replays don't "reset" your record — earlier runs stay in your history so you can compare your reasoning over time.
